Sklansky-Chubokov Preflop Open-Push Ranges for Texas Holdem
The “Sklansky-Chubukov ranges” let you know exactly what Texas Hold ’em hands you can profitably open-push with from the cut-off position, on the button or in the small blind, even when you go all in and then show your opponents the cards you’re holding in a cash game before they have to make a decision.
It’s a table of mathematically sound play based on relative stack sizes where you’re at least break even, also in the case when your opponents know your holding and only call when they are the favorite to win the hand (i.e., generally when their equity based on the hand matchup is higher than yours). Wild but true! Note: These numbers are for cash games; in tournaments they should be viewed in light of the respective “bubble factors.”
